The Brother of Jared & The Finger of the Lord
Before the family of Lehi came to the American continent, God also brought over another group of people. They were called the Jaradites and came at the time of the Tower of Babel. They were instructed to build barges to cross the ocean, but there was no light inside these vessels. The Brother of Jared was a prophet and he asked God to touch 16 stones so they would give light inside the barges.
