Nephi and the Brass Plates
Meet Nephi – one of the sons of Lehi, who was warned in a dream to take his family and leave Jerusalem in 600 BC, prior to its destruction in 586 BC. As they journeyed in the wilderness, God asked Lehi to send his sons back to Jerusalem to get the Brass Plates: A record that contained teachings from Old Testament prophets and the genealogy of Lehi’s forefathers.
